“The Need for Speed” – An Object Lesson in Profile Building

Princeton Softech, a leading enterprise data management player, was new to PR in the UK and so the selection of a consultancy was a potentially high-risk decision. By taking ‘The Whiteoaks Challenge’, Princeton Softech was able to eliminate that risk. With just an agreed project fee and guaranteed results, “The Whiteoaks Challenge” offers a ‘no strings attached’ three-month trial programme, involving neither contract nor notice period.

The initial focus of Whiteoaks’ PR campaign was to build awareness of the company’s pioneering enterprise data management (EDM) solutions. Drawing on strong relationships with the IT press, Whiteoaks organised one-to-one interviews to drive the news agenda around EDM. In parallel, it converted media opportunities for commentary articles, enabling Princeton Softech to develop a thought-leadership position in the sector.

The campaign has been an unqualified success. Interviews have been completed with key titles including The FT, Computing and Data Strategy. Resulting clip volumes have exceeded targets by almost 100 per cent. Whiteoaks’ success in exceeding its commitments made it an easy decision for Princeton Softech to extend its PR campaign for a further six months at an increased budget rate.
