Whiteoaks is delighted to announce its sponsorship of Elephant Parade London 2010, an innovative fundraising and public awareness initiative, designed to raise awareness of the plight of endangered Asian elephants and to rally support for the conservation of their habitat.

Whiteoaks is helping to promote and publicise the involvement of its client, salesforce.com, which is lead corporate sponsor of the Elephant Parade.

As part of the event, which runs from May to July 2010, salesforce.com is sponsoring a Happy Herd of brightly painted life-size elephants. And Whiteoaks is sponsoring its own elephant, Simply Silver, as part of this herd.

A total of 250 elephants will be located across central London throughout the event. Each decorated by a different artist or celebrity, the elephants are brightening and beautifying the city, enhancing every park, street corner and building they grace!

With an estimated audience of 25 million, the campaign aims to:

• Secure two million signatures for an online petition to increase government spending in biodiversity. This petition will be delivered to Number 10 Downing Street by a “Petition Elephant”;
• Raise over £2 million for the Asian elephant;
• Benefit more than 20 UK conservation charities.
