When Thomson revealed its latest pro-AV and traditional broadcast solutions, public relations specialists Whiteoaks optimised the communications opportunities around the annual NAB conference and exhibition in Las Vegas. The company has set the standard with its media summits pre-NAB to catch electronic media executives and journalists weeks in advance of the show. Thomson held an event for each product family and created a separate press tour event to focus on individual key journalists and analysts. The result? 72 journalists took the time to attend.
