Global Launch Event Management. Project Management, content generation and a lot of oranges... Every year Autodesk launches its latest line of products to the media at a series of international one day events, including a Northern European event which Whiteoaks has managed for a number of years. In 2008 Autodesk decided to create an 'experience event', hosting the Northern European event over two days. This gave Autodesk the opportunity to deliver its message without being rushed and the journalists the chance to gather both news and in-depth stories. Whiteoaks managed all aspects of the event securing design-led venue the Cumberland Hotel as the location, co-ordinating the efforts of eight PR agencies across Europe, and handling all content generation for the event producing scripts, power point presentations and all briefing documents thanks to its expert copywriting services. Our public relations specialists also delivered all branding, coordinating the design and production of all signage and stage design. Whiteoaks also came up with a novel way of continuing the black and orange theme of the event, creating 200 Autodesk branded oranges as half time snacks. Thanks to its project management skills, Whiteoaks was able to deliver 65 journalists from eight countries and 60 1:1 interviews. The total circulation of the attending media topped 1,779,000 and they all went away with a good story. Whiteoaks helped Autodesk to convey its messages in a compelling way by creating a rich narrative, showcasing the breadth of its capabilities. |
