Creating a News Hook.

FrontRange Scores Survey Success at TfM 2007.

Throughout its campaign for FrontRange Solutions, technology PR firm Whiteoaks has developed a series of instant ‘On the Show Floor’ surveys, focusing on important industry issues. These have created IP in the form of instant news and have enabled FrontRange to ‘stand out from the noise’ and reinforce its position as a key player in the CRM and IT service management space.

FrontRange Solutions' survey at the Technology for Marketing Show (TfM 2007) at Olympia, (6-7 February) was designed to show that the company had its finger on the industry’s pulse. The survey was a bigger hit with the press than ever with FrontRange achieving a record 17 clippings in just 24 hours including placements in CRM Today and FT.com.

This immediate impact was due to FrontRange’s public relations specialists, Whiteoaks rapidly turning round the survey story. Whiteoaks’ expert copywriters carried out user interviews, collated the data and developed and obtained approval of the accompanying press release all in one day and then used its media relations expertise to secure additional placements.
